25 April 2023
On Friday evening we were joined by Bishop Will, the Bishop of Lewis who came to celebrate a service of confirmation for 10 members of our congregation, both Adults and children. The candidates had been prepared for this next step on their Christian journey by Father Chris, and were ready to make the commitment.
Our service also incorporated the first Communion of our new Christians. The Choir sang 'Tantum Ergo' by Louis Vierne as the anthem.
Afterwards there were refreshments in the rooms including a splendid confirmation cake baked and iced by Carolyn, it was magnificent and delicious!
