We came together at 10 am for our Parish Eucharist, where we sang some more well known carols. The readings for today were two stories of children who were serving God in the Temple, the Old Testament story of Samuel, and in the Gospel the story of Jesus staying behind in the Temple and discussing with the Priests, Father Stephen told us that in this story Jesus at the age of 12 would have been considered a man, and able to speak to the doctors of religion, Mary stored up all these events in her heart, so she came to realise how special her Son was.
